Tier Performance Bonus

Brands can automate the final commission by configuring various settings. With this feature, brands can implement specific rules such as:

The default commission rate is 4%.

Case 1:

  • The brand can use the Tier Performance Bonus Setting to automate the following scenarios:

    • For all partners with the default commission rate, if any partner generated $500 in sales last month, their commission rate will automatically be increased from 4% to 10% for the next 30 days.

Case 2:

  • For coupon and blog partners with the default commission rate, if any partner has generated 30 conversions in sales since joining, their commission rate will automatically be increased from 4% to 8% permanently.

Case 3:

  • For all partners with the default commission rate

    • If any partner has generated 10 conversions in sales last month, their commission rate will automatically be increased from 4% to 6% for the next 30 days.

    • If any partner has generated 15 conversions in sales last month, their commission rate will automatically be increased from 6% to 8% for the next 30 days.

    • If any partner has generated 100 conversions in sales last month, their commission rate will automatically be increased from 8% to 12% for the next 60 days.

These are just a few examples. There are numerous combinations available to meet the specific needs of each brand.

Understanding the Tier Performance Bonus and Its Priority

The Tier Performance Bonus will only adjust the Default Commission Rate. If other commission settings are applied—such as Sales Match Commission, Individual Commission, or Group Commission Settings—these will take precedence over the Tier Performance Bonus.

Here’s how it works:

1. Tier Performance Bonus and Default Commission Rate

The Tier Performance Bonus enhances the default commission rate based on specific performance criteria, like reaching a sales target. This bonus applies automatically when the criteria are met.

Example:

  • Default Commission Rate: 4%

  • Tier Performance Bonus Rule: If a partner achieves $1,000 in sales within a month, their commission rate is boosted to 6% for the next 30 days.

  • Outcome: For partners without any other specific commission settings, the 6% rate applies for 30 days.

2. Interaction with Other Commission Settings

If you have set more specific commission rules—like Sales Match, Individual, or Group Commission Settings—these will override the Tier Performance Bonus. This ensures that the most targeted and relevant rules always apply.

Example 1: Sales Match Commission Setting

  • Sales Match Rule: If a sale includes the coupon code "Welcome10," the commission rate for that sale is 10%.

  • Default Rate with Tier Performance Bonus: Normally, the commission rate would be 6% due to the Tier Performance Bonus.

  • Outcome: For any sale using "Welcome10," the commission rate will be 10%, regardless of the Tier Performance Bonus. The Sales Match rule takes precedence.

Example 2: Individual Commission Setting

  • Individual Commission Rate for Partner A: 12%

  • Default Rate with Tier Performance Bonus: 6%

  • Outcome: Partner A will always earn 12% on their sales because the Individual Commission Setting has higher priority than the Tier Performance Bonus.

Example 3: Group Commission Setting

  • Group Commission Rate for a specific partner group: 15%

  • Default Rate with Tier Performance Bonus: 6%

  • Outcome: All partners in this group will earn 15% commission on their sales, as the Group Commission Setting overrides the Tier Performance Bonus.
